The Effects of Herbicides in South Vietnam. Part B. Working Papers: Perceived Effects of Herbicides Used in the Highlands of South Vietnam.

Abstract

The objectives of the research were threefold. First, an effort was made to determine whether highland villagers in affected areas had actually observed aircraft spraying herbicide. Second, an effort was made to probe into the Highlanders' perception of what happened following the spraying. Third, the inquiry was directed at the villagers' evaluation of the effect of the spraying--whether they saw any relationship between the herbicide and some or all of the perceived changes.
