Geotechnical Properties of Submarine Soils, Oslofjorden and Vicinity, Norway.

Abstract

An integrated geological, geophysical, and geotechnical investigation of the Oslofjorden and parts of the Dramsfjorden and Bonnefjorden was made in 1963-64 by the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (NGI) with the assistance and cooperation of other institutions and organizations in Norway and Britain. The study extended from the latitude of Oslo almost to Fuglehuk Fyr. Emphasis is placed on data presentation rather than on data analysis. Equipment, methods, and procedures are described and illustrated. (Modified author abstract)
