Vibrations of Soil during Explosions According to Observations within a Medium and on a Free Surface,

Abstract

The investigation of the seismic effect of camouflet explosions in a near zone is of great interest since the formation of seismic waves occurs precisely in this zone. The study is devoted to a study of the laws governing the motion of soil within a medium according to data of observations on the surface and in a shaft, and also to a study of changes in the parameters of the vibrations of particles with an increase in the depth and distance from the source.
