Modeling of Atmospheric Turbulent Motion above a Heterogenous Underlying Surface,

Abstract

The authors propose an approach to the search for similarity criteria for atmospheric turbulent flows, being bounded thus far to the neutral-stratified state of the atmosphere. The approach is based on the description of turbulent motion by means of the closed system of equations of B. I. Davidov, and some ideas of closing which were already used by A. S. Monin during the study of the boundary layer of the atmosphere.
