Study of the Characteristics of the Holographic Stereomodel for Application in Mensuration and Mapping. Part II.

Abstract

Theoretical and experimental investigation into the problems and possibilities of using holography for photogrammetry. Specific areas investigated where intermodulation distortion, field of view and geometric distortions for Fresnel and focused image hologram. A new theory of intermodulation noise is presented and verified. Optimum geometries for hologram recording and viewing are derived. (Author)
