Navy Plans for Weather Modification Research and Operations.

Abstract

The United States Navy's most immediate goal in its weather modification program is to develop an operational capability for clearing supercooled fog and stratus. Its second goal, but of considerably greater operational importance to the Navy, is to develop a capability for clearing warm fog. The Navy's plans include a long term investigation on a system to exert control over storm dynamics.
