Automated Tactical Logistics Systems: Doctrine vs Reality.
Abstract
The paper examines current doctrine for automated logistics systems under The Administrative Support, Theater Army 1965-1970 (TASTA-70) concepts. It examines what is practiced in the field, concentrating on the European Theater. Next, logistics systems and concepts being planned are reviewed and differences between practice, current doctrine and planned changes are discussed.
