The Effects of Nonlinearity in Regression Models. Part 3. Some Aspects of a Bayesian Approach.

Abstract

Two previous papers (Draper and Shaw, 1973a, 1973b) suggested and examined a way of assessing nonlinearity when estimating, by least squares, the parameters of a nonlinear model. The problem was approached there from the 'traditional' sampling theory point of view. Here the authors discuss aspects of a Bayesian approach to the same problem. (Author)
