Mutual and Balanced Force Reductions.

Abstract

The essay analyzes the policies of NATO and Warsaw Pact nations relating to mutual and balanced force reductions (MBFR). Specifically, its object is to inquire into the United States' position on troop reduction in Europe and to recommend several possible courses of action for the American government and NATO to pursue in MBFR negotiations.
