Thermoelectric Properties of Indium Selenide - Bismuth Selenide System Alloys,
Abstract
The coefficient of thermoelectromotive force, the condition, and the thermal condition were determined for In2Se3-Bi2Se3 alloys as function of the compound and temperature of the thermal treatment. The results confirm the presence of one phase solid solutions over a wide range of Bi2Se3 compounds (10-90 mole percent). The alloys are semiconductors in the nondegenerative state. The high values of the coefficient of the thermoelectromotive force and the low values of the thermal condition coefficient suggests they can be used in thermoelectric measuring devices.
