Searches for Psychotropic Substances among Derivatives of Pyrazino (1,2-a) Indole,

Abstract

The pharmacological study of a number of derivatives of pyrazino (1,2-a) indole was conducted with the following indicators: the effect of the compounds on spontaneous and caused reactions in mice and rats; the influence on the central effects of phenamine, and the peripheral effects on adrenalin, noradrenaline, serotonin, reserpine, and analgesics, and locally anesthetizing substances; and on the convulsive activity of nicotine, arecoline, and corazole.
