Rare Earth Cobalt Single Crystals.
Abstract
Single crystals of Sm(1-x)Pr(x)Co5 and Y(1-x)Nd(x)Co5 were grown for x = 0.25, 0.50, and 0.75. Crystals of Gd(0.33)Nd(0.67)Co5 and Gd(0.5)Nd(0.5)Co5 and Sm2Fe4.24Co12.75 were also grown. The conditions for crystal growth are summarized. Data are reported on magnetic domains, unit cell lattice constants, compositions and of inclusion phases for these systems. (Author)
