North Pacific Study: Physical Data Report. Cruises 1-12; September 1968 - September 1971.

Abstract

The data presented were collected on ten cruises by the USCGC Acushnet and one cruise by the RV Thomas Washington for the North Pacific Study Program. These cruises were for the purpose of deploying and servicing instrumented stations in the North Central Pacific to study the large-scale ocean and atmosphere interrelationships in the Pacific, and were funded under contracts with the Office of Naval Research. Tabulated in this report for the cruises of this program are temperature and salinity data from S/T/D lowerings and Nansen bottle casts collected for comparison with the data from the moored instrument stations.
