Border Conflict as a Factor in Sino-Soviet Rivalry

Abstract

The question under consideration is the significance and role of the territorial boundary dispute existing between the Soviet Union and the People's Republic of China, and its impact on both the two principals as well as the ramifications for the United States. A detailed analysis and enumeration of Sino-Soviet border-relevant actions is presented for the period, 1969-1973.
