Flight Evaluation - Pacer Systems, Inc. LORAS II Airspeed System.

Abstract

Airspeed calibration tests were conducted on the Pacer Systems, Inc. LORAS II low-range airspeed system to determine its suitability for use as a helicopter airspeed instrument. Testing was conducted by the United States Army Aviation Systems Test Activity at Edwards Air Force Base, California between 29 January and 5 July 1973. The evaluation required 17.2 productive flight test hours. (Modified author abstract)
