On Efficient Majority Logic Decodable Codes.

Abstract

Majority logic decodable (MLD) codes have been an extremely important class of codes in the past ten years due to their relatively high efficiency and their ease of decoding compared to other classes of codes. In this report the main concern is the thorough investigation of one technique to produce new efficient majority logic decodable codes. A particular code shortening technique is applied to cyclic MLD codes based on a Euclidean geometry, and new interesting MLD codes result.
