On the Mechanism of Catalyst Action on the Combustion of Condensed Systems,

Abstract

The present work is devoted to the experimental investigation of the mechanism of catalyst action on the combustion of condensed systems using APC (ammonium perchlorate) as a base. In the work the authors give the results of the investigations of catalysis of the combustion of APC and of mixtures having it as a base by using an optical microscope and an electron scanning microscope, and also give the results of investigations of the effect of dispersion of a catalyst on the APC combustion rate and of a model APC and polymethyl-methacrylate (PMMA) system.
