An Interactive Polynomial Manipulation Program.

Abstract

The report serves as a user's guide for a teletype-interactive polynomial manipulation program called POLOPS (for polynomial operations). The program was primarily developed as a tool to assist the control system analyst in the manipulation of transfer function polynomials. The program, however, is of a general nature and is not restricted to control system applications. The program was designed for use on the CDC 6600 INTERCOM system at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. However, American Standards Association FORTRAN and the more restrictive alphanumeric word lengths of the IBM 360 have been used. A complete program listing is presented in Appendix 3.
