Small Turbine Engine Noise Reduction. Volume II. Noise Prediction Methods.

Abstract

The volume presents reviews of many currently available methods for predicting small gas turbine noise source characteristics involving those developed, adopted, or modified. A total engine noise prediction methodology using those component noise prediction techniques shown to be the most practical and reliable for small gas turbine engines is also presented. (Author)
