Evaluation of MIL-L-23699 Lubricant Performance in the T58 Engine.

Abstract

An evaluation was made of the service performance characteristics of MIL-L-23699 oils in these engines. Operational experience and problems as well as the condition of the lubricant wetted engine components at overhaul are discussed. Recommendations are made concerning the expected life of MIL-L-23699 oils in these engines. (Author)
