A High Frequency Burst Signal Processor for Laser Velocimeter Applications.

Abstract

Different types of Laser Doppler Anemometer (LDV) processors are discussed. The electronic circuit for a Doppler burst processor developed at Purdue University is described in detail. In use with a differential Doppler LDV optical system, this circuit provide a data rate up to 100 KHz, with a maximum of 100 MHz. Doppler frequency, results of preliminary velocity measurements in a two-dimensional transonic nozzle are presented. (Author)
