Report on Water Channel Test of Buoyant Wheel Propulsion.

Abstract

The document presents results of tests of models of buoyant wheel devices in a water channel. The devices are being considered for propulsion for amphibious vehicles. Solid models of foam plastic are tested at various velocities, depths of immersion, and torque load values. Data is presented to permit calculations. (Author)
