Fast-Response Radiometer and Analysis of a Mercury-Alloyed Germanium Radiation Receiver,

Abstract

A fast-response radiometer-pyrometer for measuring low-level fluctuations in radiation temperature or brightness of natural formations, including clouds, is described. The effect of unmodulated radiation on receiver parameters is discussed.
