Computer Simulation of RPV Flight Characteristics.

Abstract

The report presents a set of equations of motion for remotely piloted vehicles. The equations are written in a form suitable for a real-time digital computer simulation. The simulation is intended to provide a test bed for evaluating alternative RPV control systems. A FORTRAN program for use on a Digital Equipment Corporation PDP-12 Computer is presented. Airframe parameter values are given for several flight conditions of an air-to-ground RPV, an air-to-air RPV and, a reconnaissance/EW RPV. (Author)
