Determination of Optimal Vehicle Service Life before Major Overhaul,

Abstract

The report presents calculations of optimal vehicle service life before a major overhaul, based on analysis of all expenditure items per 10 ton-km from results of operational tests of an experimental lot -- 40 1965 model dump trucks. All the dump trucks operated as part of a truck train with a load capacity of 8.5 tons in hauling loose construction loads in Moscow.
