The Influence of Preparations of Ziziphora Bungeana on the Bioelectric Activity of the Heart,

Abstract

The experiments which were carried out for the study of the bioelectric activity of the heart showed the following: Intravenous injection of glycoside no. 1 in a dose of 10 mg/kg evokes a speedup of the intraventricular conductivity, and in a dose of 5 mg/kg it produces a speedup of 60% of the cases and a prolongation in 40%. Intravenous injection of glycoside no. 2 in a dose of 5 mg/kg evokes a lengthening in half of the cases, and in the rest a speedup of the intraventricular conductivity.
