A Method to Predict the Service Life of Internal Fuel Cell Baffle Materials.

Abstract

The reversion of elastomeric materials under conditions of ele-vated temperature and humidity has been a serious problem for the Armed Services. This report describes techniques to predict the life of two elastomeric fuel cell baffle materials under these environmental conditions. Through the usage of the reac-tion rates developed in this report it can be shown that the life of foam materials may be predicted through temperature and humi-dity data. (Author, modified-PL)
