Exact Solution for the Sequential t-Test.

Abstract

The report presents a method for the exact solution of the one-sided, truncated, sequential t-test. The OC function, the error probabilities, and the distribution of the decisive sample number are found exactly for a truncated version of the Barnard-Rushton test for hypotheses D = 1.5 apart and nominal errors at the hypotheses of .2. The method is based on Aroian's direct method. (Author)
