Possibilities for the Construction of Various Types of Multi-Value Adders from Mixers, Switches, and Spectrotrons,

Abstract

The analysis shows that in using components with frequency coding, adders of very different types can be made which operate both in a position number system and in a system of residual classes. The use of an adder of one type or another must be determined by the concrete requirements for the device in which it is used.
