Interactive SIM II, A Technical Approach.

Abstract

SIM 2 is a computer simulation model designed for rapid modelling and evaluation of naval warfare engagements. It provides great flexibility in modelling tactics which are part of the inputs to the program. The report describes a technical approach to using interactive computer display systems for SIM 2. Various types of interactive computer systems are reviewed. Operator controls and display option for inputs and outputs are presented. Programming considerations are also discussed. (Author)
