Strength Retention of Nylon Coated and Uncoated Fabric under Prolonged Stress.

Abstract

The report describes a study of the strength retention and fatigue characteristics of three collapsible fuel tank materials: uncoated nylon cloth, nylon cloth coated with polyether and polyester polyurethanes, and body-lap seams made of polyester coated nylon fabric. (Modified author abstract)
