Monthly Mean Sea-Surface and Subsurface Temperature and Depth of the Top of the Thermocline Mediterranean, Black and Red Seas.
Abstract
The large-scale temperature atlas of the Mediterranean, Black and Red Seas presents charts of mean monthly temperatures for the sea surface and five subsurface levels--100, 200, 300, 400, and 492 feet (150 meters)--based on bathythermograph (BT) data supplemented by available reversing thermometer data. Included in the atlas are monthly topographies of the top of the thermocline derived from the temperature fields and time-series curves for selected locations. (Author)
