Calculating Heterogeneous Ignition of Particle Aggregates,

Abstract

This paper presents calculations to determine the relation between ignition delay time in a gas suspension of a uniformly reacting fuel and different initial process parameters. In the case of an aggregate of uniformly reacting particles the amount of gas oxidizer and solid fuel burned up will affect the heat and mass exchange processes differently.
