Protection of Certain Borides from Oxidation in Air at 1200 Degrees,

Abstract

The present work was performed to clarify the possibility of protecting titanium, zirconium, chromium, niobium, hafnium, tantalum, and molybdenum (Mo2B5) borides from oxidation in air at 1200 using glass-silicide coatings.
