Dynamic Magnetoelastic Properties of Rare-Earth Materials

Abstract

Summary of the goals and accomplishments of a research program on the dynamic magnetoelastic properties of rare-earth materials is given. Both elastic wave propagation and elastic-wave ultrasonic generation were investigated in pure rare-earth metals and in terbium-iron compounds
