Broadening of Spectral Lines of Unhydrogenlike Ions,

Abstract

Spectral line widths for Ar(II) are calculated, taking into account the effect of the perturbing electron trajectory distortion. This consideration resulted in an approximately two-fold increase in the line widths and is in good agreement with experimental data.
