A Study of Equations of State/Opacity of Ionized Gases.

Abstract

Modifications have been made to the CAPO code for calculating the equation of state and opacities of plasmas. CAPO results have been used to calculate emission properties of a laser heated magnetically contained plasma. A new program, DANA, has been written which calculates the group average opacities of CAPO output. (Author)
