A Comment on the Lagally Theorem.

Abstract

A stationary source in a uniform flow field has been analyzed. The force which is associated with the source is given by the Lagally theorem, but the force which is applied to a streamline boundary is zero. The Lagally theorem must be used with caution in other applications. (Author)
