Construction of a Three Dimensional Displacement Field from a Solution to the von Karman Equations.

Abstract

In the report the author defines a three dimensional displacement field in terms of a solution to the von Karman equations and determines how well the three dimensional displacement field satisfies the exact theory of elasticity for a plate with zero body force and zero stress vector at the faces.
