Technique for Combined Determination of Astronomical Coordinates of a Point and the Azimuth of Orienting Direction,
Abstract
In the interest of shortening observation time, the author proposes a technique of combined determination of the astronomical latitude and longitude and of the azimuth of the orienting direction on the basis of observations of a minimum quantity of northern and southern stars in the meridian of the place of observation.
