Investigation of the Character of Molecular Movement in the Polypropylene Method,

Abstract

Structure of polypropylene crystals (pp) is studied microscopically and by the method of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). The second moments of NMR of samples of pp with different molecular structure differ considerably. The nature of the relationship between second moments of NMR and temperature depends upon the degree of defects and imperfections in high-molecular compounds.
