The Prospects of Adoption of New High-Precision Technology in the Topographic-Geodesic Industry,

Abstract

The growing demand of the national economy and national defense for topographic-geodesic data requires a constant increase in the production of new geodesic and photogrammetric instruments and equipment, and also an increase in labor productivity on the basis of the extensive adoption of new technology and computer systems. The article is a report on several new high-precision geodesic and photogrammetric instruments and devices that will find industrial application in the near future.
