USACC Desired Capability List: Second Edition.
Abstract
The purpose of the document is to serve as an interface tool between US Army Communications Command (USACC) and the R and D community providing those items and ideas that USACC uses. Both government and industry research and development could better support USACC if they had a clearer understanding of USACC's needs. This document, the 'USACC Desired Capability List (DCL),' constitutes the assembled, published, formal statement of future requirements as currently viewed by the USAAC system operator. The DCL is planned to provide an effective tool in forging the communications channel with the research community that should materially assist in the selection of research objectives and aims because each item is generated by a user problem and reviewed and validated by senior communicators.
