A Disposable Modesty Curtain for Use in Aeromedical Airlift.

Abstract

A disposable, lightweight, easily positioned, fire-resistant or -retardant modesty curtain was developed to be used aroung individual litter patients for aeromedical airlift on multimission aircraft. Specifications required the curtain to be wide enough to cover one side and both ends of a standard NATO litter, long enough to provide complete privacy for litter patients in a normal-density litter configuration (three-high), and easy to attach to the litter. Evaluations indicated the disposable modesty curtain was acceptable for use in aeromedical airlift. (Author)
