Numerical Experiments Evaluating the Role of Horizontal and Vertical Resolution in the Spectral Forecasting Model,

Abstract

Experiments estimating the role of vertical and horizontal resolution were carried out on the basis of difference and spectral models of the atmosphere. It is convenient to study the dependence between the results of calculations and space resoltuion, because in such models dividing up the space simplifies an interpretation. An attempt to investigate particular aspects of such a dependence is presented.
