The Conservative Treatment of Chronic Tonsillitis
Abstract
Treatment with irrigation or injections of antibiotics or antiseptics during the simple form or with toxic-allergic chronic tonsillitis of the first degree was the course. During the toxic-allergic form of the second degree and also upon a diagnosis of the pathogenetic influence of chronic tonsillitis on the tendency of another illness, tonsillectomy was the treatment.
