Computer Functional Requirements Study. Volume II.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to assess advanced guidance system computer requirements and functionally define a computer architecture meeting these requirements while incorporating the advances being made in hardware technology, software utilization, and system organization. The report documents the results of that study and presents a functional design capable of meeting the postulated requirements of the 1975 - 1980 time frame. The document consists of three separate volumes. Volume 2 provides a description of the software features of the processors in Volume 1 along with a description of the instruction repertories.
