Computer Functional Requirements Study. Volume III.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to assess advanced guidance system computer requirements and functionally define a computer architecture meeting these requirements while incorporating the advances being made in hardware technology, software utilization, and system organization. The report documents the results of that study and presents a functional design capable of meeting the postulated requirements of the 1975-1980 time frame. The document consists of three separate volumes. Volume 3 presents a description of the computer functional requirements study (CFRS)-SPL software development techniques using the SPL Implementation Tool (SPLIT) as specified in the CFRS SPL/SPLIT Applications Program. This volume contains recommended improvements to the existing SPL/SPLIT software package.
