Systems Engineering of Training for Eight Combat Arms MOSs.

Abstract

The basic objective of this project was to develop task inventories and job task data for duty positions in eight of the key combat arms MOSs using systems engineering procedures. Field validation by job incumbents, senior NCOs, and officers resulted in a complete definition of each duty position in an MOS in terms of common and noncommon tasks at various levels of organization. The information on commonality of tasks that is contained in this report and the by-product report may be directly utilized by curriculum planners, training administrators, and training developers at each of the combat arms schools.
