Viscosity of a Number of Oils Measured with a High Pressure Impact Viscometer at Various Times after Impact.

Abstract

Viscosity of a number of fluids is measured as a function of pressure up to 3GN/sq m. It has been found that after a pressure pulse the fluid takes a finite time to reach an equilibrium viscosity. At high pressures the viscosity becomes independent of pressure. (Author)
